We are Ron and Stormy, owners of RSR Entertainment.   I have been in the entertainment industry for approximately 35 years. I started working in California in 1982.  I started working for Bay Sound doing load in and set up of large format coliseum concerts.  I quit working in the audio industry in 1984 when I entered into the Navy.  When I got out of the military, I returned to California and went back to working for Bay Sound.  I then started working as a Monitor Engineer.

I continued working in the sound industry in California for approximately 4 years.  I work for several headline bands including Rush, Motley Crue, Scorpions and Alice Cooper.  I had a wonderful time working at several multi day multi venue festivals.  I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1992.  I continued to work on and off in the industry.  I worked for several companies in the Denver area.  I moved away from the coliseum venues and started working in corporate venues.  These included but were not limited to company board meetings, shareholder meetings and company summer and winter parties.  I continued to work at some small scale venues such as live sound at bars and outdoor music venues.  I moved to Oregon in 2001.

I stopped working in the industry for the major part of 2001 to 2019.  I was unable to find a company that I felt was the right fit for my skillset.  In 2019, my wife, Stormy started working in the Karaoke industry.  She had been working pretty steady until COVID hit.  During this time we were working closely with StarPDX DJ’s.  We also were friends with DJ Tommy PDX. It was sad but he was no longer to keep his company afloat.  He decided to sell his company and I purchased it.   Along with audio equipment already in my possession, we had enough equipment to start RSR Entertainment.

Presently I have some of the following equipment.  16 channel analog mixer.  12 channel U12 soundcraft digital mixer.  We have several 8, 6 and 4 channel mixers.  We have several 2000+ watt amplifiers.  We have several speaker systems included but not limited to 18” subs and speaker cabinets from 6” to 12 “.  We have several microphone systems including approximately 10 wired microphones like SM 57 and SM 58.  We have 2 Pyle 4 microphone wireless systems as well as several other wireless systems. We have a small number of lighting trusses and cans as well as a number of static lights.  I have a lighting controller that can be programmed to have lights or cans flash to the music.  We have over 20,000 Karaoke songs as well as over 50,000 songs for standard Dj type venues.    Recently we have been performing karaoke 2 to 3 times a month and have worked doing sound for several wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as several personal summer parties.
